Sodom is a German thrash metal band that was founded in 1981 in Gelsenkirchen and is one of the “Big Four” of German thrash metal alongside Kreator, Destruction and Tankard. In their 43-year career, they have released 18 studio albums and have toured tirelessly around the world, delighting a loyal fan base in front of sold-out festival and club audiences. Their fan club, the Sodomaniacs, is also very dedicated. Their last studio album reached number 5 in the German charts. This reissue of their sixth album “Get What You Deserve” was originally released in 1994, was only available on vinyl in a limited edition and has not been available on CD for a long time. The original album was remastered under the supervision of former guitarist Andy Brings, who also created a brand new remix of the album. The triple CD edition contains the remastered studio album, a previously unreleased 2026 remix of the album as well as the new remaster and the remix of the EP “Aber bitte mit Sahne!”.
